The One Minute Dance

A great way to keep students active and engaged is to incorporate movement throughout the school day.  The One Minute Dance is a fun way to provide opportunities for joy and movement during transitions throughout the day.  Make sure to choose music ahead of time, project a timer on the board, and provide clear expectations so that students know what to do when the music stops.  With practice student learn to transition to the next activity with ease.
